The walk on Tuesday 27 January at 10am will start at the Barham Picnic site (map: TM 123512). Turn off A14 at Claydon and follow the brown picnic site signs and Gipping Valley Walks signs to the Barham Picnic site. The very small brown signs must be looked for, but once under A14 just follow any brown sign you see.

The walk is about 6 miles through Shrubland Park and then along the River Gipping. A lovely mix but you will need good boots, and a stick may be useful if it has been raining.

Dunwich walk was fun. May have been best the other way round as two miles of shingle sorted us all out. The Ship Inn provided welcome refreshments afterwards. A good walk.
